I wanna be free. Free to do as I please. and not be monitored...

Would you rather live in a wasteland Rather then be trapped by injustice? Be who you are, Be what you wanna to be, yeh. Be where you are, Be where you wanna to be, yeh. Would you wanna live in a wasteland Rather then be trapped by injustice? Would you wanna live in a wasteland Rather then be trapped by injustice? Yeh.

I'm sittin' here on my porch Thinkin' what I'm gonna do On a long, sunny afternoon without you. Every car that goes by Reminds me of all the times I waited outside for you. So, I'm just sitten' here Thinkin' what I'm gonna do without you On a long, sunny afternoon. On a long, Saturday afternoon. With a bear in my hand I'm sittin' here all alone again Waitin' for the day to be gone. On a long, sunny afternoon.

Roses are red, And violets are blue, I've been cruisin' the streets all along this Avenue. Yeah! If I had a hammer, I'd build me a shack. Yeah! New Caledonia freakin' On a Friday afternoon. Yeah! Oh, Shucks! Freak out! Yeah!

I've been standing here, In this funkyn' bar with a beer, Waitin' for a friendly lookin' smile. And I don't really know why, I'm just that type of guy. Been that way ever since I was born. So, give me some of that old Rock-N-Roll. You know, the music that rocks my soul. And then boy, lets get the hell out of here, Where I'm stuck with this warm beer. Ye, just give me some of that old Rock-N-Roll. And lets rock the world and let it roll. And lets rock the world and let it roll. So, I've been waitin' here, In this funkyn' bar with a beer, Lookin' around for a friendly lookin' smile. And I don't really know why, I'm just that type of guy. Been that way ever since I was born. So, give me some of that old Rock-N-Roll. You know, the music that rocks my soul. Just give me some of that old Rock-N-Roll. And lets rock the world and let it roll. And lets rock the world and let it roll. Ye, and lets rock the world and let it roll.

Seen some better days, And some better nights, In my Dam hotel room. All through the Damrak, Down the streets and canals, Of the old city of Amsterdam. Have cruised the streets alone, Day and night long, Lookin' for my true one. All through the Damrak, Down the streets and canals, Of the old city of Amsterdam. Looked into the eyes, Of strangers by... And have found 'em not. All through the Damrak, Down the streets and canals, Of the old city of Amsterdam. All through the Damrak, Down the streets and canals, Of the old city of Amsterdam.

As the days went by faster and faster, I decided to ask myself why. This ain't what I'm waitin' for. I'm lookin' for a friend, To take me to a café in A'dam. And as I was sittin' there, Near a Cannabis Collage or Museum, I realized that I was really stoned. This ain't what I'm waitin' for. I'm lookin' for a friend, To take me to a coffeeshop in Amsterdam. In the redlight district by a canel, I saw the windows, the guys and the girls. This ain't what I'm waitin' for. I'm lookin' for a friend, To take me to a café in Amsterdam. This ain't what I'm waitin' for. I'm lookin' for a friend, To take me to a café in A'dam.

Is it your smile that I adore? Was it your eyes that I fell for? Whatever it was I don't know. All I know is that I love you so. Is it the way you walk that I adore? Was it the way you talked that I fell for? Whatever it was I don't know. All I know is that I love you so. Is it your mind that I adore? Was it your lips that I fell for? Whatever it was I don't know. All I know is that I love you so. Is it your body that I adore? Was it your kiss that I fell for? Whatever it was I don't know. All I know is that I love you so. All I really know is that I love you so. All I really know is that I love you so.

As you walk down the streets of Amsterdam, Think about this a while. Think about this a while. If there was love and freedom in the world, Would you really have to be here? Would you really have to be here? So make a wish when the Moon is bright, And all your dreams will come true, And all your dreams will come true, Let there be peace, love and freedom in the world, All over the world, All over the world.

I have traveled And been alone In this restless world I'm in. Have been lookin' For a safe haven To call my own. But I have found No such place. So, I'm thinkin' of New Zealand. Like the Zed in the alphabet, New Zealand's my last hope. It's another dream to hold on to On the stormy ocean I'm on. So, if you don't see me there That's because it's just a dream To hold on to for a while When all other dreams are gone.
